Living in Ontario, enjoying patio season during our very short summer is essential. With a pandemic still looming around, the patio season was definitely at risk of being cancelled.
Hamilton just entered phase 2 and that means with adjusted patio seatings, restaurants with an outdoor sitting area can open up. Whoohoo!
Please keep in mind that not all restaurants who have a patio will decide to open up right away. Please also be kind and be patient. The restaurant industry has been turned upside down and they need time to adjust to this new normal.
Few other things, if you are sick, please do not come out! It is that simple! Also, be respectful to the restaurants, they make money by turning tables, please don’t sit and camp for 4 hours.
