Easy Thai Iced Tea

A refreshing beverage to cool you down!

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups water
  • 3 tbsp black tea
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 star anise
  • 3 cardamon pods (crushed)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • white sugar (you can use how much you prefer in your teas)
  • condensed milk

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, bring water to boil
  • Add tea, vanilla, star anise, cardamon, cinnamon and sugar and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Turn off heat and let tea cool for 30 minutes
  • Strain tea into pitcher
  • Put cooled tea into fridge and let cool for at least 2 hours. You can leave it overnight or longer if you want to make your tea on a different day
  • Fill tall glass with ice, pour tea mixture into glass leaving about a half inch on the top.
  • Top with condensed milk (or milk of your choice) and stir to combine! Enjoy!
