If you love Asian flavours like taro and matcha, you have to try Hamilton’s newest cafe – My SweeTooth! Located at 301 Main Street West in the heart of downtown Hamilton, they are officially opening Tuesday January 14th, 2020! Mark your calendars foodies!
Owners Jia and Peter met at McMaster University while studying engineering and economics but decided to pursue their dreams of opening up a bakery instead. And boy are we glad they did!
They actually have been creating delicious treats for the residents of Hamilton for awhile now, creating beautiful custom cakes and sweet desserts!
They make everything in house and instead of using baking powder and baking soda as a leavening agent, they use egg whites instead. This makes their baked goods so light and fluffy! It’s like enjoying a delicious cloud!
Not only do they have amazing desserts, they also have a really tasty selection of teas and coffees. And best part yet, you can control how much sugar goes into your drink. So if you don’t like your matcha latte sweet (hint hint, that’s my drink of choice), you can skip the sugar completely!
It’s a great place to grab a treat to go, but they also have a very cute spot upstairs where you can relax and enjoy your treats! If you are looking for parking, there are a number of side streets (like Pearl Street) where you can park for free. You can also park along Main Street when it is not rush hour at the metered spots.
A note to point out, they do not accept cash so make sure you have your debit or credit cards ready!
